Grade 3-4 House League - Spring 2017
Registration opens November 16th through January 9th
after January 9th a late fee of $75
after January 22nd registration is CLOSED
The House program focuses on building individual skills plus developing an understanding of the rules and strategies of the game, all while having fun. The House League is an ideal place for both players who are new to the sport and those who have some knowledge of the game. House League players will be divided into teams and play against each other throughout the season. This is a great way for the girls to learn the sport in smaller groups while understanding teamwork, sportsmanship and respect for the game.
The 3/4th grade House League will focus on teaching individual skills (for all levels of ability) and learning the basic rules of the game. Practices will be once a week with an additional cross field 7v7 game on Saturdays. Girls will be assigned to a House team that they will play with for the season. Practice will be clinic style with all teams together, while Saturday game play will be in town but towards the end of the season they will play some games with other towns.
Season runs April 1 through June 3
There will be no formal programming the week of spring break or Easter weekend.
Practice Days: Tuesdays 5:45-7:00pm, Saturdays 9:00-10:30am
Equipment: Girls are required to provide their own stick, goggles, mouthpiece and cleats.
Uniforms: Pinnies will be provided by the WLA. Uniforms for grades 3-4 will be also provided at the beginning of the season, and are to be returned at the end of the season.
